Curated by 44flavours and Clemens Behr the group installation The Solution Is Irrelevant will take place tonight at Berlin’s Epicentro Artspace, Karl-Marx-Allee 82-84! Urban Multimedia Art The Solution Is Irrelevant, is meant to evoke not only an approach to creativity and the act of creating, but also a life philosophy. For the duration of the vernissage, the Epicentro Artspace will be transformed into a multimedia, interdisciplinary laboratory, where performance and video art, design, music, spoken word, sound treatment, sculpture, painting, and installations will interact simultaneously without a screenplay or a preset agenda. On board for the experiment: the 44flavours art collective, installation artist Clemens Behr, film directors Pol Ponsarnau and Yves Kasten, musicians Robot Koch, Sneaky and Lars Kirchbach, and spoken word artist RQM. The entire “performance” will be documented on video and will be screened at Epicentro art daily; presented in the form of video installations alongside other finished artifacts. ...

Wow, this urban artists collaboration between urban design crew 44flavours and our personal hero, 3D cardboard installer Clemens Behr is like really hot sauce dripping through these rough beats of the same video… The urban illustration duo as well as Clemens (I decided to put him on my top urban artists list!) are both part of a certain new urban artists generation in Berlin, pushing forward new styles, and spreading especially their love for mixed media artworks. Urban Art Festival | In a few days, Berlin fuckin’ town will witness a new, fresh and promising urban art festival. The “Street Lab” will present a selection of national and international urban artists who expose the urban hinterland instead of simply just illustrating it. Today I noticed, that there’s currently a new street art documentary called “No Art No Street” in production. Seems to be really interesting also because of the corresponding artists like Klub7, 44flavours, Danny Gretsher and Stör. No Art No Street, a 52-minute documentary is the fourth film in the documentary series Dasein Projekt. It is a street art documentary that focuses on walls as a painting, and the way they create themselves as such, and evolve between urban micro-interventions and the exchange between artists - artists who are regularly brought to collaboration through their common medium: these walls that unite them all. “Holz51” is a great name for that “back to basics” collaboration of the two well-known Berlin-based urban art and design collectives Klub7 and 44Flavours. Some days ago, the corresponding art exhibition opened at the Neurotitan Gallery in Berlin… 44Flavours as well as Klub7 are popular for their incomparable style and the alternative ways in creating their artworks. Their art is by and large unique in the German urban art scene, what makes it every time interesting to see what they created new… ...

Yesterday I visited the opening of the 44flavours art show at the 72h Gallery in Berlin. It was a good exhibition in a nice show-room, but although there were some really interesting repainted silk-screen prints, I somehow missed a certain touch… In addition, I think that the 44flavour guys should have had a bit more time to give their artworks the lacking something! Nevertheless the 72h concept seems to bear fruits - The exhibition was well-frequented and there were artworks sold already at the beginning. ...

Two days ago, I informed you about the interesting concept of the new 72h Gallery in Berlin and the upcoming show by creative crew 44flavours today. Now there are two new videos out, which give some insights into the preparations for that urban art exhibition, which is called 72hours vs. 44flavours. 44flavours is a Berlin-based urban art duo. In their artworks they combine older and newer techniques - it’s always a wild mixture of silk-screen printing, collages, lino- and woodcuts as well as painting and spray painting. ...

This Saturday, a new urban art gallery with a pretty cool concept will open in Berlin - Its name: 72h Gallery. The exhibiting artists have 36 hours for preparing their artwork. That mean 36 hours to create, spray, tinker, photograph, shoot, screw, hang, rock, be awake and paint. Ongoing the public is able to visit, view, fall in love, jaw, hear, feel and enjoy for exactly 36 hours. All in all it’s always an 72 hours action exhibition. ...
