Graffiti Photography | Alex Fakso is well-known around the world and with good reason part of my top urban art photographers list!

Although his astonishing graffiti action photographs have already been featured in the nice “Heavy Metal” book, Fakso recently published a new book called “Fast or Die”! And although this is something like a successor “Fast or Die” focuses not just on the atmosphere of plain graffiti, but also on subways…

The whole book doesn’t share it’s pages equally between graffiti exploits and other subjects as it’s still heavy on the graffiti theme; there’s just a little seasoning of other apparent non-graff substance. That being said, the non-graff looking subject matter certainly gives another flavour to his work as it appears occasionally. In fact, it’s only on close inspection that you realise that even these images are firmly cemented in the scene. Even the non-graff images are set among the same environment; the subway. (Ektopia)

I’m pretty sure, friends of photography, graffiti action and subway tunnels will love this book! For more info, visit fastordie.net.
