Some weeks ago (almost a year after the first test issue), the new, second Crack Mag issue was published! The urban magazine delivers urban culture and lifestyle feeling and features a exquisite selection of work from street artists, photographers and musicians. This time, the “Crack For Your Eyes” crew collected art by Snub23, Fake, Mr. Zero, Chase and other famous people. The mag itself is very clear, structured and convinces with great photos. Last week, I got the new issue of the “Hidden Champion”. It’s a free Japanese urban magazine, featuring hidden champions of many cultures. This time, well-known graffiti artist Craig “KR” Costello respectively one of his fire extinguishers is on the front page! In addition to great pictures of his artworks, there’s an interview with him. By the way, do you Remember that KR is in Hamburg next week! For some days “The Modart Times”, a brand new urban art newspaper, lies at my home and I did not really had some time to read it - until today. The old-viewing special edition for Berlin includes articles about the “Wallbreakers Urban Art Tour”, the “Dreamyourtopia” exhibition, a wide gallery guide, an interview with Berlin-based old school writers Bas2, Poet and Wesp as well as some articles about art, marketing and “Write the Wall”. ...

Uebergrund, by Sebastian Linck is a new urban photo magazine. The issue I recently had in my mailbox, photographically thematizes urban city-photography and is the first one of an ongoing series. The 76-page mag convinces with 66 urban landscape, graffiti, street art, night-shots, street scenes, trains and tracks, facades and skateboarding photos from all over the world. It’s off-set printed in a handy A5 format. As you maybe know, one of Sebastian’s photos was awarded with the third prize of our urban photo contest, so you can be assured of having a brilliant, ad-free, limited urban mag. ...
