With about 100 confirmed urban artists, including [**Karl Addison** and **James Bullough**](/karl-addison-james-bullough-mural-in-berlin/), **Alias**, [**Buff Diss**](/dido-aeneas-tape-art-opera/), [**Graffiti Research Lab**](/graffiti-research-lab-germany/) Germany, **SAM Crew**, **Mean Marek**, **SP-38**, **Tona** and [**Wurstbande**](/irgh-crazy-abandoned-murals/), Artbase 2012 is with no doubt going to become this year’s biggest urban art festival in Berlin... *Artbase 2012 is not a commercial festival, but an urban art weekend. We like free spirits and promote fine arts. The festival combines urban art, royalty-free music on different dance-floors and workshops with the magical feeling that radiates from this place.* ([loosely translated](http://www.artbase2012.de/)) Artbase 2012 will take place between August 24th and 26th. To get to the NSA fieldstation at Teufelsberg, take the S-Bahn, S9 or S75 to Heerstraße, or S1 to Grunewald and walk from there. I’m pretty sure this is going to be a fantastic urban art weekend! ![Teufelsberg Urban Art Festival]() Teufelsberg Urban Art Festival
