Remember that fantastic mural by Spanish-born twins How & Nosm in Los Angeles from last month? Recently the Vandalog crew discovered some more flipping How & Nosm walls in New York Cities South Bronx! One of my most favorite urban artists, the Spaniard Aryz, lately painted another huge wall - this time in the Italian city of Civitavecchia! I don’t think I have to say that much about that astonishing new mural artwork, its fantastic colors and size - just have a look and be impressed! - but it’s definitely worth to make some words about the artist! Originally born in California Aryz is now based in Barcelona and part of the fantastic MM Crew. Inspired by Os Gemeos, Sagüe, Roid, Dran, Popay, Mode2 and others he started painting large-scale characters being well-known around the globe! Spanish Mural Art | He collaborated with famous graffiti artist Smash137, has been a part of the “Art Brut” graffiti festival and painted his own concrete wall at the end of last year! Sure, I’m talking about Spanish urban artist Aryz, who becomes more and more popular these days… Recently I found another video from 2009 showing him spray-painting a beautiful indoor mural in the “Montana Coffee & Pizza” shop in Barcelona! Some days ago, twenty street and graffiti artists from Barcelona, including Boris Hoppek, Aryz and Ripo, painted six walls. This graffiti festival was called Art Brut and should give a tribute to the Barcelona-based graffiti scene. On March 27, 2010, twenty of Barcelona’s best street artists came together to paint six large murals to pay tribute to the quality, distinction and diversity of the Barcelona Scene.
