Whether Spain, Norway, Germany, Poland, Portugal or recently Austria, in the last weeks famous mural artist Blu was quite busy in Europe! This May, he caught up with Sam3 and Os Gêmeos for a huge mural art collaboration in Lisbon, went over to Madrid in June for another large-scale wall painting, did some new pieces in Berlin, was in Warsaw, visited Stavanger for a great collaboration with Ericailcane, flew back to Madrid and created another masterpiece and recently hit Vienna to take part in the BLK River Festival… ...

One of the most famous mural artists around the world, the Bologna-based urban artist Blu, recently published another new wall-painted animation…its name: “Big Bag Big Boom”! As Blu describes, the video shows “an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end” and looks really amazing, but that’s nothing new after his fabulous collaboration with David Ellis at Fame Festival last year or his re-known animation “Muto”. ...

It’s an amazing huge painting, four of my favorite mural artists recently created in Lisbon! Os Gêmeos, whose graffiti art exhibition is still running, Blu, who was lately in Wroclaw and Sam3, whose new book was published several month ago, came together to paint the facade of two abandoned old houses in Lisbon’s city. All four artists - for those of you who are new: Os Gêmeos are twins - are internationally well-known for their unique style, beautiful artworks and large-scale mural artworks. The Exhibition of Murals in the old city of Wroclaw is the fourth stage of the Breaking The Wall project. My first thought when I read the lineup of participating artists, including Blu, Erica Il Cane, SickBoy, Zosen, and others, was: That will be fuckin’ great!. “Combo - A Collaborative Animation” is a new and amazing motion painting animation done by famous street artists, painters and filmmakers Blu and David Ellis. It’s one of their artworks for the urban art festival “Fame” in Grottaglie, Italy. Blu and David Ellis combine in this action the interesting location of an old, abandoned house, a lot paint and their inspiring creativity to a synthesis of the arts, which can only be viewed in this video.
