Yesterday, I visited Hamburg to fetch some new sneakers and to meet my friend Jörg from the Heliumcowboys Artspace. I spend the whole day walking through the streets, photographing nice street art…
My personal feeling is, that Hamburg is the German capital of sticker art. There are googols of different stickers by famous urban artists like Flying Förtress, CUPK and The London Police as well as an uncountable number of other great stickers by local artists!
Also I found a lot of tags and huge painting by 1010, Human Bein’s by Dave the Chimp, stencil artworks by Tona, Alias, Funk25, Xoooox and Los Piratos, paste-ups by Quasikunst, El Bocho and Azione and many more!
Although, the street art scene in Hamburg is not so big as in Berlin, it’s an rather interesting city. You could see a lot of fantastic street artworks, when your eyes are open…
