Big walls in the East

The Polish mural wave, Blu in Kraków, Urban Forms in Łódź, Muralissimo in Kyiv and a festival in Russia: the walls that made eastern Europe a mural destination.

Between 2010 and 2012 the biggest new walls in Europe went up east of Berlin. These posts follow them, from L’Atlas in Moscow to Sainer in Łódź, with the Polish abstract painters Nawer, Chazme and Sepe at the centre.
