Good news for all urban-inspired artist who always wanted to exhibit their stuff in Berlin: Berlin’s finest Idrawalot Gallery and Showroom is hosting an art exhibition contest, rewarding the top three artists with a group show at Idrawalot Gallery later this year! Wow, the last four day were really hard, but in the end Luna Park, RJ and me decided the best five urban art photos out of a 500 photos pool! Much better submissions this year - made the choice very difficult. Update: Here are the winners of the Urban Photo-Contest 2010… Now it’s over! The Urban Art Photo Contest 2010 ended with round about 500 submitted photos by around 200 people…that’s great and I’m very happy about it! In the next days, we three jurors - Luna Park from New York, RJ from London and me from Berlin - will decide the five winning urban art shots, which will win the great prize packages the three big supporters - Montana Cans, Publikat Publishing and Urban Stylistics - provided. ...

It was a hard preparation, but finally everything should be fine and now it’s your turn: Street Art, Graffiti & Action What we (the jury and me) want to see are impressing photographs of street and graffiti artworks as well as urban artists in action or similar things like colorful atmospheres in abandoned areas, breathtaking impressions of public artworks, etc… Important to mention is that superficially not the artwork itself counts, but the photo’s quality (style, light, atmosphere, interesting angle, etc.).
