Update: Here are the winners of the Urban Photo-Contest 2010… As mentioned four weeks ago, the second Urban Art Photo Contest will take place this month, strictly speaking it will start next Monday, July 19th, 2010. Update: Here are the winners of the Urban Photo-Contest 2010… It’s amazing to see how well this urban art blog grows. A lot of graffiti and street art enthusiasts follow me on twitter (about 2.500), read the RSS feed (about 630) and comment or link back the posts. I never thought about that success when I started the www.urbanartcore.eu project with that great urban photo contest in August 2009. About 220 people with about 700 photos joined the competition at that time… ...

Graffiti meets Cars: “Wash Me” Book

At the beginning of the year, I wrote an article about the creative celebration of Mini’s 50th birthday. The car-manufacturer invited ten well-known artists, including urban artists like Seak One, Tika and Smash137 to repaint some of their cars. Some days ago, I received a package from BMW Switzerland (the owner of Mini) with some of the corresponding “Wash Me” books in it! For that reason, I will give away three of these books to you today! All you have to do is to twitter a link to this article up to and including January 22nd, 8pm.
