{"author":"Jan Brennenstuhl","categories":["Street Art"],"cover":{"alt":"Creating like a Pro, Urban Art Photography","height":1520,"src":"https://www.urbanartcore.com/creating-like-a-pro-urban-art-photography/IMG_4131_s.jpg","width":2480},"credit":"","date":"2011-11-20T18:38:56Z","description":"My new photo-series shows spray cans, brushes, paint buckets, masking tape, markers, gloves, even more cans, fire-extinguishers, and everything else a street or graffiti artist probably needs...","html":"\u003cp\u003eDuring the last couple of days, when I stayed at home because of some flu stuff, I was browsing through my digital photo-archive and came up with a neat idea for a new urban art related photo-series, focusing not on the artists, but on their tools and equipment!\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI ended up with a great collection of photos showing spray cans, brushes, paint buckets, masking tape, markers, gloves, even more cans, fire-extinguishers, and everything else a street or graffiti artist probably needs\u0026hellip; The name of this new photography project: \u003cem\u003eUrban Tools - Creating like a Pro\u003c/em\u003e.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIronically, this series is the exact opposite of my former series: Instead of documenting a creative head while dynamically working, it’s now all about the artists static equipment – you could say I created urban art still lifes. To carry this contrariness to extremes I made the decision to keep each photograph in black and white, to concentrate on its basic elements.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI hope you like it anyway!
