Dave the Chimp Socks

I received a nice e-mail by Dave the Chimp today, informing me that he has a new obsession: Socks! Limited to only 300 boxed sets, each set contains three different pairs of socks featuring my Human Bein characters, two big stickers, and a 48 page full colour book of the Human Beins enjoying life in the streets of Berlin and Hamburg. 75% of the socks in the world are made in China, but these beautiful box sets are made completely in Germany, with all the printing and box manufacture made within 5 miles of were I live. Street Art: Chimp, 1010 & CUPK in Hamburg

Yesterday, I visited Hamburg to fetch some new sneakers and to meet my friend Jörg from the Heliumcowboys Artspace. I spend the whole day walking through the streets, photographing nice street art… My personal feeling is, that Hamburg is the German capital of sticker art. There are googols of different stickers by famous urban artists like Flying Förtress, CUPK and The London Police as well as an uncountable number of other great stickers by local artists! ...

Vienna Calling - Rock me ATM!

The flagship-gallery for street art in Berlin is the ATM Gallery by my friend Marc Scherer. Although or even because of it’s only a small exhibition-room, the gallery shows continuously the local and international creme de la creme of urban art and culture. Currently, I read about that “Lucky Dip” lottery and thought, that this playful way of art disposal has to be supported.
