As I said, French fabulous graffiti crew Da Mental Vaporz (short just DMV) left their home-country with its artic weather conditions and presidential elections delirium to enjoy sunny horizons down under and started to create one of the most prolific exhibitions Melbourne has seen so far…
The trailer speaks volumes - I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen such a high-quality one for a single graffiti exhibition, although Mr Doom got some pretty nice ones - and also the artworks, popping up for just a few seconds in this new review video are convincing me.
Armed with spraycans, the DMV crew; consisting of Bom-K, Blo, Brusk, Dran, Gris1, ISO, Jaw, Kan, and Sowat are boarding the Australian continent with their individual style, from old school lettering to calligraffiti and figurative painting with a touch of dark humour.
The long and the short of it is, DMV is rocking Australia, as the rocked Toulouse last summer. Hope they’re going to come together to Berlin one day, yeah!
