They jump, they climb, they get freaky - Since yesterday, there’s an other amazing urban extreme sports video clip, called “Out of Time”, on the web. Some guys from Russia filmed their Parkour-inspired playground action and made a respectable fifteen minutes video out of it. Their main focus is on some big monkey bars, but they’re also jumping from roof to roof or into the water… ...

There are a lot of skateboarding competitions out there, but this one I like really much, ’cause it combines the urban sport with design and creative ideas! “The Legend Of Boxton Square” by skateboard crew Etnies is the winner of this years “Skate & Create” skateboarding contest by Transworld. The video is really nice although I haven’t seen all contest clips yet. “Collapse Times” is the name of an interesting urban time lapse video clip by Luis Simione and Marcelo Demari. In contrast to these two city portraits, this short film’s focus is not the city character, but a special morphing effect. This effect makes the night light time lapse more dynamic and livelier. I love this fresh slow motion video made by Vicente Sahuc with a Casio camera in New York, 2008! The impressions, the cuttings, the details, the colors - Everything fits great together, it’s a feast for the eyes and additionally gives a fantastic feeling of the urban atmosphere in New York! I mostly like the cop, cruising past with his antique police car or the lady with the pantyhose…great! ...

The Basic idea of “555 Kubik - How it would be, if a house was dreaming” by Urban Screen was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M.
