No Pants Subway Ride 2011 Report

Some days after this year’s “No Pants Subway Ride” action day the report is online, including a lot of photos and a video! On Sunday, January 9th, 2011 over 5,000 people took off their pants on subways in 48 cities in 22 countries around the world. Flashmob in Antwerp

I love them - these hardly trained but still spontaneous acting mass-events midway through the public urban space with hundreds of dancing, singing and moving people. Phenomenal! This time one of these so called flashmobs went into the Antwerp central station and sparks a lot of people with an amazing dance interlude. Under the unbelieving and impressed looks of plenty of passengers, about 200 flashmob dancers including children, danced to a famous song whose title I unfortunately forgot… ...
