Next week, a phenomenal extreme sports event will taking place in Berlin - Freestyle.Berlin!
If you are interested in urban sports or other freestyle activities, you should read the next lines from the press release very carefully:
Freestyle Berlin 2009
“On a full weekend, the 60 world’s best athletes in the disciplines of snowboarding, freeskiing, FMX and skateboarding compete for cash prizes totaling more than US$ 110,000 and the titles “freestyle.champ” and “crossover.champ”.
Exciting competitions and a big Meet & Greet are inevitable, because the whole international freestyle community meets from October 9th to 11th at the former runway of the airport Berlin-Tempelhof, celebrating the start of the new season.”
Top-class action is guaranteed with snowboarder David Benedek (GER), freeskier Benedikt Mayr (GER), FMX superstar Mat Rebeaud (SUI), Skateboarder Renton Millar (AUS) and many more athletes from all over the world!
Additionally there’s a lot of live music, concerts and so called “label world” with current trends and developments from the world of freestyle sports. If I have some time, I will go there and take some pictures of this action-packed sports event.
