London Graffiti: Titi Freak in Action
Graffiti Artist in Action | Do you remember all the urban artists like Herakut or Ben Eine who did live paintings as a part of the Moniker Art Fair earlier this year? Another famous artist who painted at Village Underground was Hamilton Yokota aka Titi Freak!
While the São Paulo-born graffiti artist created a colorful mural on one of these nice brick walls in East London, I took some photos of him in action. Yesterday I had some time and uploaded them to my urban art photography blog, so you are now able to type in the letters www.urbanart-photography.eu into your web browser, to take a look at the Titi Freak photos and to give me some feedback.

Aykovskiy - Russian Graffiti Art
Graffiti Fine Art | This time it was really hard to decide a heading which makes sense - on the list were for example “Russian Graffiti Drawing”, “Graffiti-inspired Art from Russia”, “Drawn Graffiti Paintings”, and a lot more which is why Russian artist Aykovskiy combines fine drawing, fine painting and nice graffiti skills to very interesting canvas works!
Honestly I know nothing about him/ her. I just got an e-mail with these very interesting motives and I thought it would be great to share them with you. Also Google knows nothing about Aykovskiy, except the fact that he/ she is on Flickr…maybe it’s because i can’t read Russian…

Artist Studio: Remi/Rough in London
Studio Visit | He combines tape, paint and aerosol and creates in that way really nice urban-inspired, abstract and rough artworks. Yes, you’re right, I’m talking about London-based painter, musician and agent of change Remi/Rough!
Back in 2008 Remi/Rough held court at London’s Tate Modern and talked as part of the Tate’s Street Art exhibition on the underground history of UK graffiti in front of a sell-out auditorium. Now, in October 2010, I met him in his nice studio in South London, had a cup of tea and took some shots of his creativity area and his latest artworks. Today I published some of them on my Urban Art Photography blog…

Concrete Wall Graffiti by Aryz
Mural Art | I can’t understand anything but I really love that brilliant video showing Spanish graffiti and street artist Aryz painting a concrete wall in Barcelona earlier this year as a part of the Concrete Walls Project!
Living in Barcelona, he got in contact with the local, very creative and inspiring street art scene early and developed an own, unique characters style. Now, he is well-known around Europe for his amazing murals and pieces (just remember that beautiful work he did together with Smash137!) that he uses spray-cans as well as paint rollers and brushes for.

Herakut Live in London, Photos
Herakut is probably the most famous and popular urban art duo from Germany. Their impressing mixture of rough, dirty painting and photo-realistic elements is well-known all over the world.
In October, I met both of them at the Moniker Art Fair in London and had the chance to document their live painting at Village Underground.
I really enjoyed watching them painting one of these typical London brick walls and in my opinion they did a great job again. Take a look at the rest of my photos over there on my urban art photography blog or on flickr and write me what do you think about the painting, Herakut and my photos!
