Google meets Urban Art

After Urbanartcore reached nearly 1,400 friends on Facebook and 4,172 followers on Twitter, I set up the official Urbanartcore page on Google+ a few days ago. From today on it’s open to every urban art enthusiast who wants to celebrate street art and graffiti also via the google community! Montana Colors 2011 Calendar

Graffiti Equipment | Hey, what’s a new year without a new calendar? This year’s graffiti calendar by Montana Colors is out now and I’m pretty sure that this graffiti photography calendar, with its really nice detail shots, is a great decorative object for every graffiti addicted who swears by Montana Colors products. Bomb It 2 Graffiti Documentary, Trailer

After the successful graffiti documentary Bomb It, which through interviews and guerrilla footage of graffiti writers in action told the story of the graffiti movement the successor Bomb It 2 will coming soon and feature the street art movement around the globe. Although I’m a bit confused after watching the trailer [*], I’m looking forward to watch the entire graffiti/ street art documentary, because it promises interesting impressions of urban artists in action, statements and great artworks! I’m most excited about the reports from Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok, because I haven’t seen that much from there… Does anybody know when it will be published? ...

Graffiti Movie: Girl Power Trailer

At the end of last year, I announced the graffiti movie Girl Power, which is a documentary roadfilm and shows the typically male dominated graffiti world from the female point of view. Two days ago, the official trailer was published! The film crew travels across 15 European countries and crosses the Atlantic to graffiti’s birthplace New York, introducing the audience not only to female graffiti artists, but also famous writers, friends, interesting people and anyone else who truly has something to say.
