After that quick and dirty preview of some first impressions from the urban art festival IBUg, I just finished uploading some more (all in all about 80!) photos, what makes it possible for those people who also participated to remember all the nice installations, paintings, etc. and for you, who probably couldn’t make it, to get some detailed insights into what happened during one week absolute urban art action! Here a small excerpt of the IBUg 2011 review:
IBUg 2011 brought together nearly 150 urban artists from all over Europe, the USA and China who together redesigned an abandoned factory. With over 3000 visitors from the region around Meerane and all over Germany the festival celebrated a record result. Also on an artistic level the IBUg was convincing again. After the week-long creative phase the former textile combine presented itself as an impressive work of art and showed the whole spectrum of contemporary art with graffiti and wall painting, original space concepts, objects and installations, video animation and multimedia performances.
Have fun while looking through my photos…
