# International Mural Locator

Public murals are often hot-spots for street art and graffiti. When travelling to others cities, have you ever spent hours and hours to find the local public murals to get some pretty nice photos as souvenirs? I did and although this trial an error method of finding the really big murals was usually quite fun, I would have had some more time to do other things either. Luckily, I just stumbled upon the *Mural Locator*!

*Mural Locator* is specialized in geo-locating and archiving public murals with the aim to create a central location for people to research and find information about murals. By providing optimized databases using strategic customized mappings and archiving technology, locating and finding information about murals becomes simple in that way.

> At Mural Locator we maintain close relationships with the mural arts community to advocate and help promote events, murals, artists and organizations.

At [murallocator.org](http://murallocator.org), you can not just find murals around the globe, but also submit your own photos of murals and add required information about artists and locations! Sounds interesting, I’ll try this out asap and so should you to extend the yet quite limited database of murals...
