Art Monument 2010 - Most Spectacular Urban Art Event?

This year, a spectacular urban art event will take place in Berlin: “Art Monument 2010”! For many years, a unique architectural building, a 46 meters high tower called “Bierpinsel”, has been asleep in the center of Berlin. Last year, the car-manufacturer Mini celebrated its 50th birthday with a great art event. In addition to the controversial discussed, but inspiring KRink vs. Mini action, ten other well-known artists, including urban artists like Seak One, Tika and Smash137, created their custom-styled Minis. Almost every bigger fashion label used street art or graffiti for their commercials or got directly in contact with international urban art protagonists in the last years. A few already have their own gallery! Street art is popular and for this reason en vogue. Craig “KR” Costello is in Hamburg next week! In cooperation with auto-manufacturer Mini, he will paint a brand new car which will be presented in the “Ersteliebebar” and at Vicious Gallery. KR, who grew up in New York, founded his own company for paint, markers, and other graffiti equipment, named KRink, several years ago.
