Art Magazine | Recently I got in contact with the Berlin-based subcultural creativity and art magazine “Mašta”. With creative activism as its main theme, “Mašta” combines experimental, unconventional and positively provocative topics, is open and borderfree and aims to inspire to act…
Growing from input, actions and creations, we publish a sparkling magazine to tickle your imagination and inspire you to act. The magazine exists of different forms of creative expression, images, articles, art, discussion, sharing of ideas and experiences. We wish to be inspired by creative acts of others. (Mašta collective)
Right now I hold the fifth “Mašta” issue in my hands and am quite impressed by its diversity and the quality of the consistently English-speaking texts. Its topic is transformation, for what reason this issue includes stories about climate change installations, open space adventures, supermarket interventions, moss and reverse graffiti as well as an interview with famous stencil artist C215 and a lot of other texts about creative action in public space.
This magazine for creative activism was, is and will be free for everyone. The fifth issue was spread all over the globe and can be downloaded, like all the other issues, directly on creativeacts.org! I for one really enjoyed reading the nice texts about the more or less unconventional topics and will try to get also the next issue…
