# Metropolis Art Prize - Win $5,000

Attention! I recently got an e-mail by Claire from Babelgum Metropolis, who wrote about a great creative video competition in which you have the chance to win $5,000 for your street art video:

> “We have just launched the Metropolis Art Prize offering artists the chance to upload a video of their art to win $20,000 and get their work displayed on giant monitors in Times Square. There is also special Street Art award of $5,000. (Although Street Art is still eligible for the Grand Prize)

> I’m trying to get the word out to as many artists who might be interested in entering as possible, and would really appreciate a mention on Urbanartcore about the competition if you are into what we are doing.”

A second interesting aspect are the jurors! Winners will be chosen by iconic arthouse actress and video artist **Isabella Rossellini** and **Cedar Lewisohn**, curator of the 2008 “Street Art” exhibition at the Tate Modern in London.
