Yesterday, the preparations for the upcoming urban culture festival IBUg started and I’m on the straight way to the Saxon city of Meerane. For that reason I put together some interesting street art and graffiti news and deliver you with this the new urban art link-tips…

  • Scottish artist Elph recently made the trip down from Scotland to London for some nice painting hours! Here are some nice shots of the new wall in Shoreditch…

  • For their latest mission the Improv Everywhere crew constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, Say Something Nice. Great!

  • Norway’s Nuart festival is also coming up this year, including walls of seven abandoned tunnels and a 50 meter long access tunnel with an entrance hall equal in size to the cities largest gallery.

  • During the See No Evil Project in Bristol (the UK’s largest ever street art event) some astonishing walls were painted.

  • When I saw the new domino wall painting by Sam3, I really had to laugh. Pretty sure you will like it!

  • Berlin-based urban artist MyMonsters (or MyMo for short) just did a nice interview and talked about her inspirations, fashion and other stuff. Must to read!

  • Taponymous is a new iPhone app which allows you to censor critical parts of an image wherever you are. Nice to have for urban art photographers, crews, etc.

  • Família Gangsters documents a day in the life of typical autonomous Brazilian trashman, what’s a very interesting thing…

  • Popular urban artist Roa painted some new walls again! This time in Copenhagen…

  • Alexandre Farto aka Vhils is going to release another book (simply called Vhils), which features some of his artworks the first time!
