Street Art Show | Yes, “it’s sad but true - this is our last show”! This is the first sentence in the latest newsletter I received from Berlin’s most famous gallery for street art stuff… ATM Gallery will close its doors one day before Christmas.
Yes, you’re right, that doesn’t mean that there will be no more street art in Berlin, but nevertheless a big meeting point for street art enthusiasts, urban artists, collectors, fans and documentarists will be absent and will leave a big hole in our hearts.
To make our little space maximum entertaining we invited everybody we’ve worked with the last three years, so our Le Grand Finale is a really nice overview about the wonderful scene of this city. (Marc Scherer, ATM Gallery)
Three years ago everything around ATM Gallery begun with that outstanding Emess solo-show followed up by other nice exhibitions by Pure Evil, Faith47, 310 Squad, Börek, C215, Dave the Chimp, The Krah, Incubus Project, Ciscoksl & Fafa, 1010, Czarnobyl and a lot more!
Thanks a lot ATM for these nice shows, the contacts and the great evenings, the free beer, the talks and everything else! Now ATM will look back and presents more than 100 different artworks by more than 30 artists. I will be there tomorrow to pay my last respects to the gallery and its owner.
See you all there!
