Not until September, this year’s Nuart Festival will open its gates, but the line-up is already filled with internationally famed urban artists!
Nuart Festival in Norway
Held in Stavanger on the West Coast of Norway, the urban art festival expects a “Brooklyn, NY Special”, named “Nu York”, because the A-list of New York street artists have promised:
Swoon, David Choe, Ben Wolf, Graffiti Research Lab, Brad Downey, Judith Supine, Leon Reid IV, Chris Stain, Logan Hicks Skewville and others will be part of Nuart 2009!
“In 1825 the first official Norwegian immigrants left these shores to settle in Brooklyn, at one point, over 200 000 Norwegians could be found living in the borough where, over the years, they left their mark.
We thought it only right that someone should invite a few Brooklynites to Stavanger to get their own back…traces of which we hope to see many years down the line.” (Nuart blog)
