In not even more than two weeks, Australian urban artist Matt Adnate is going to open his Point of View exhibition at the Box32 gallery in Berlin! Presenting spray-painted images, which have been inspired by and produced in Berlin, Adnate, who is highly regarded in his home town Melbourne for his early graffiti writing, combines photo-realism paired with letter-style elements and bridges in that way the gap between urban and fine art…
I’ve seen a lot of different faces in my travels of the past 6 months. From the eyes of kids that have lived the lives of adults in India, to people losing there faces in clubs in Berlin. Point of View seemed like the perfect title for my show, as all of the faces in the show are my interpretations of people I’ve recently seen and met. (Adnate)
As I already showed you earlier this summer, when I published some photos of my Matt Adnate studio-visit, all of the original artworks in Point of View have been produced in Berlin! In my eyes this exhibition is an obligatory event for those of you being in Berlin, so make sure to save the date:
Date: September 30th, 7pm | Location: Gallery Box32, Boxhagener Str. 33, 10245 Berlin
