# Skateboard Art: Helping Hounds of Hell 2011

*Customized Skateboards* | Last weekend, [the Berlin Art Projects Gallery](http://www.berlinartprojects.de/en/) opened its doors for the skateboard art show *“The Helping Hounds Of Hell”*, which presented a huge count of different skateboard decks, customized by about 40 artists from all over the globe!

> The Helping Hounds Of Hell is a charitable art project launched by the Berlin based design studio Groupe Dejour to benefit the Fair Play foundation. The hand painted, one of a kind boards will be sold at two exhibitions in Berlin and Hamburg. International artists, street artists and graphic designers will create unique boards for the show including Boris Hoppek, Jim Avignon, Jon Burgerman and Casey McKee. ([houndsofhell.de](http://www.houndsofhell.de/index.php?/project/about/))

Also [**Smash137**](/smash-137-graffiti-show/), [**Boxi**](/boxi-stencils-london/), **New2**, **DAIM**, [**Alex Diamond**](/alex-diamond-demon-circus/) and other well-known urban artists were in on it!

All in all, *“The Helping Hounds Of Hell”* in Berlin was a very nice show with a lot of famous artists amongst the guests. Of course I took [one or another photo](http://www.flickr.com/photos/streetart-berlin/sets/72157625770240505/) of the nice skateboard decks but unfortunately I forgot to ask the organizers why one of the Smash137 boards was upside down...
