I just stumbled upon some flicks from his latest exhibition in Los Angeles, which includes in addition to other skateboard sculptures, an amazing fuckfinger made of skateboards which is really killing it! ## Skateboard Sculpture Art In my eyes, being able to create those skateboard sculptures requires lots of technical skills as well as the right machines as it is mentioned on [Haroshi’s website](http://haroshi.com/artworks/): *In order to make a sculpture out of a thin skateboard deck, one must stack many layers. But skate decks are already processed products, and not flat like a piece of wood freshly cut out from a tree. Moreover, skateboards may seem like they’re all in the same shape, but actually, their structure varies according to the factory, brand, and popular skaters’ signature models. With his experience and almost crazy knowledge of skateboards, Haroshi is able to differentiate from thousands of used deck stocks, which deck fits with which when stacked.* Those of you who want to see more from his latest exhibition should check out [dailydujour.com](http://dailydujour.com/2012/01/07/preview-huf-x-haroshi-x-dlx/) -It’s just great! ![skateboard sculpture]() skateboard sculpture ![Haroshi skateboard art]() Haroshi skateboard art Via [crackajack.de](http://www.crackajack.de/2012/01/09/fuckfinger-made-from-old-skateboards/).
