# Street Art Cookbook

In addition to [“The Urban Cookbook”](/the-urban-cookbook/) by writer and author **King Adz**, which is a collection of creative recipes for the graffiti generation, there’s another cookbook out now - It’s name: *Street Art Cookbook*.

*Street Art Cookbook* is a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) bible on street art written by **Benke Carlsson** and **Hop Louie** and was published two weeks ago. It’s maybe the first street art handbook, containing dozens of different techniques, tips and tricks for creating urban art pieces.

> From stencils and stickers to lasertagging and guerrilla gardening, Street Art Cookbook takes us on a trip around the world in the search of the tricks and trades of street artists. Posters, stickers, screenprint, mosaic och sculptures - there are no limits for their imagination. After hundreds of books filled with pictures of street art published in the last few years finally one is showing how the artists work. ([press release](http://dokument.org/renderUtgivning.asp?p=utgivning&book=2520))

With about 250 pictures and 25 artists interviews the its content is a mixture of a book of facts and a street art documentary.

I think I will by one of the 140 pages books to have a closer look at it, because it seems to be rather interesting and maybe it includes some inspiring ideas...
