This is an important art event tip for everyone who will be in Munich next week! The self-proclaimed working class hero and urban artist Skore183 will exhibit new works about “Subversive”.
“Skore183 grew up in a working-class family in Munich. Already at quite an early age he discovered art as a way of expressing his very own thoughts, ideas and concerns.
Since the late 1990s Skore183 has been using the streets and walls of his surroundings as his canvasses. Rather soon, however, he lost interest in writing just his name and started to focus on the content of his artworks.
To him it became ever more important that his paintings communicated a socially critical message, contained hidden, subversive criticism or provided some food for thought.” (press release)
The exhibition will show a cross-section of his creative work featuring canvasses, prints and photographs of his artworks. For more info, visit skore183.com.
