Do you remember the Living Walls, The City Speaks urbanism and street art conference, which will take place in Atlanta this August? It’s a street art-influenced conference which wants to be a starting shot for a movement of people who want to recreate their cities self-determined…

The project will be divided into three components: a component devoted to public murals involving poster art, a lecture series which the Georgia Tech architecture department has agree to host for us, and a that of a gallery opening taking place at the Eyedrum. (about Living Walls)

Participating artist are for example Gaia, Know Hope, Ox, Jerm IX, and a lot of other well-known urban artists! Today I received an e-mail by Monica, one of the Conference Organizers, who asked for some support and informed me that here’s a quite good and interesting kickstarter video, which introduces to the ideas behind that urbanism conference:

As you would know we have set a list of fundraisers to happen throughout the summer and one of our biggest ones is the kickstarter video. For the ones not aware of how this works. We first had to get invited into the site, then you write about your project, make a video and have a rewards program for the people that decide to back up the project. We are asking for $4000. If we don’t get raise that amount, then we get nothing. We believe this is something we should be able to achieve but we need your support, the more this video gets out there and promoted then $4000 should not be so hard to reach. (by Monica)

I hope a lot of people will support them, because in my opinion, the Living Walls, The City Speaks urbanism conference is a great project - Watch the video and you know what I mean…
