# The City Speaks: Living Walls 2011

Next week, this year’s edition of the [*Living Walls*](http://livingwallsconference.com/) street art conference is going to take place in Atlanta. [Like last year](/living-walls-conference-the-city-speaks/), street artists from around the world will take over the streets and will in this way make the city speak...

> The idea behind Living Walls is to put the work of a very small subset of the population (street artists, graffiti writers, etc), people who actually interact with space, and people who spend their time in discourse about public space all under the same roof. (about Living Walls)

Bringing together famous urban artists like [**Sam3**](/sam3-mural-in-poland/), [**Roa**](/roa-book-first-insights/), **Gaia**, [**Over/Under**](/mural-art-irgh-overunder-new-york/) and a lot more as well as key note speakers like Tristan Manco (the head behind the [*Street Sketchbook*](/street-sketchbook/)!), Ricky Lee Gordon and RJ Rushmore (you know, the [Vandalog](http://blog.vandalog.com/2011/08/living-walls-2011-the-city-speaks/) dude!), the *Living Walls Conference 2011* seems to become an urban art and urbanism highlight this year...

Hopefully the key notes speeches will be documented as well as the street artworks. I’ll definitely keep you posted!
