# Australian Graffiti: The Yok’s Fresh Stuff

Australian graffiti artist **The Yok** recently updates [his photostream](http://www.flickr.com/photos/76343282@N00/) on Flickr! Now there are some new shots of his new and very nice artworks.

For years, The Yok has been active as urban artist and is one of the brains behind the [Kingbrown Magazine](http://www.kingbrownmag.com/blog/), which captures the work of local and internationally acclaimed artists.

His funky spray-paint characters, which I really like most, are not only infamous in Down-Under, but also around the globe. You have to like their freshness, charm and clean style.

***berlinpiraten:** How much does streetart influence your everyday life?

**The Yok**: “Art filters its way into my everyday life, when I see someone else’s work from the train that inspires me to think about my work and how i can make it better or more thought provoking. I enjoy making art so its amazing how much I let it surround my life in every way from friends to work.”*
