# Underbelly Paris, Abandoned Urban Art

That the Parisian underground includes one of the most spectacular tunnel systems throughout Europe is general knowledge not only since the renowned *National Geographic* published a nice [photo gallery of the catacombs](/paris-underground-graffiti-fire/).

Now, after their [phenomenal New York project](/the-underbelly-of-new-york/) with 100 artists mounting an unsanctioned show in abandoned tunnels during a one-year period, also the *Underbelly* team around **Pac** and **Workhorse** discovered the deep paths worming under the French capital and brought some of the most creative heads - including [**C215**](/c215-life-in-the-streets-through-art/), [**Futura**](/futura-2000-by-ruedi-one/), [**Conor Harrington**](/conor-harrington-interview/), [**How and Nosm**](/how-nosm-mural-los-angeles/), [**Saber**](/saber-the-american-graffiti-artist/), and **SheOne** - to create the *Underbelly Project Paris*!

For more detailed info about the new unofficial, abandoned urban art gallery read the nice post on [Huffington Post](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jaime-rojo-steven-harrington/the-paris-underbelly-surf_b_1104124.html)!
