# Urban Art Recap, August 2011

As I already explained in the [urban art recap for July](/urban-art-recap-july-2011/), I’m going to regularly feature the five top posts for every month in a special recap post. This are the most popular posts in August 2011:

- [Graffiti Wars: Banksy vs. Robbo](/graffiti-wars-banksy-vs-robbo/)
British Channel4 broadcasted *Graffiti Wars*, a documentary about the clash between graffiti and street art by analyzing the **King Robbo** vs. **Banksy** battle in and around London. Unfortunately the content mafia interfered broadcasting on Youtube or Vimeo...

- [Banksy’s Antics Roadshow](/banksy-antics-roadshow/)
The *Antics Roadshow* is a hour-long special which charts the history of behaving badly in public. A must to see for every urban intervention fan or guerrilla art enthusiast!

- [Shepard Fairey Mural, Copenhagen](/shepard-fairey-mural-copenhagen/)
Popular urban artist **Shepard Fairey** created a new and controversial mural in the Danish capital!

- [Abandoned Places in Berlin](/abandoned-places-berlin/)
Berlin is well-known for its abandoned areas and decayed factories. I collected some info about the the most popular places.

- [Berlin Wall Freedom Park](/berlin-wall-freedom-park/)
In memory of the Berlin Wall building up 50 years ago, the *Berlin Wall Freedom Park* was created by some famous urban artist in Berlin!
