Update: Here are the winners of the Urban Photo Contest…
Today it’s the launch-day of this new, independent, street, design, urban art & photography blog. To have a great start, I came up with the plan to do this photo contest with lots of great prizes!
Urban Photo Contest - Huh?!?
First of all I have to say that this is an international photo contest and I hope that a lot of people will join the competition. The thematic priority of urbanartcore.eu is roughly speaking everything which has to do with “urban”. Hence the contest rules are very easy:
If you are a Flickr-Users, just become a member of our flickr-group and add your best shots (max. 3 per day) in categories like graffiti, street or urban art, architecture, street design, or anything else, having to do with “urban”. If you don’t have an flickr-account, you can send in your best photograph to photos@urbanartcore.eu! Please decide one, because of the traffic…
The contest runs till August 21tst, 8 pm (GMT). Afterwards the jury and I will award prizes to the ten best urban photographs, which will be featured on this blog! The decision is final.
Do you have a winning shot? Send in your best photos for a chance to win one of our great prize-packages! The winning photos will also be featured on urbanartcore.eu.
Urban Photo Contest - Some of the Prizes
What is there to win?
This photo contest is supported by some very interesting brands, like the Berlin-based Overkill-Shop, the Stylefile-Shop and Montana Cans, so we got a lot of prizes for you!
The best 10 photos will win a package of urban art & graffiti books, magazines, cans and markers. To put it a little fairer, no photographer can win two of our packages. More about the prizes, after the jump!
Who decides what’s good?
A long time I put this question…In the end, I got commitments from two well-known photographers: Firstly, there is Luna Park from Brookly, New York, who is one of the most active urban art documentors wordwide and secondly, Peter Nitsch from Munich, who has been working for years as an independent designer and photographer.
Thanks you two for your support!
