Dutch graffiti-writing master, sculptor and urban artist ZEDZ realized a new fine art print he subsequently painted on a huge bridge in Milan - he calls it urban regeneration…

From Art Print Study to Urban Regeneration

Know for his very architectural, abstract style, ZEDZ investigates new forms of graffiti, by regarding graffiti as 3D objects. In this way he links sculpting and writing and creates an unique way of painting walls…

Back in 2009, I was invited to photograph him and some other famous graffiti artists like SeakOne while painting at the Thalys graffiti event in Paris. But compared to the so-called urban regeneration action he implement last December in Italy, this was nothing, because this new public painting involved more than 1000 m² and is protected by an innovative paint developed in Japan!

The result is just impressing - a massive concrete wall transporting different green tones which although flat, create a real three-dimensional collage in public space. Well done ZEDZ - rrban regeneration rockz!
