Augustine Kofie’s “Vintage Futurism” opens tomorrow at White Walls Gallery with a lot of new artworks! tags: - Art Installation - Augustine Kofie - Wood Art - Painting title: 'Vintage Futurism: Kofie One Exhibition' url: https://www.urbanartcore.com/vintage-futurism-kofie-exhibition/ --- # Vintage Futurism: Kofie One Exhibition *Exhibition* | What I like about [**Augustine Kofie**](/augustine-kofie-artist-profile/)’s art is rather easy to explain - I like everything! The abstract forms, the colors, [the way he creates his artworks](http://www.urbanart-photography.eu/urban-art-show/augustine-kofie-painting-berlin), the astonishing details, etc. Recently his upcoming show, entitled *“Retrofitted and Other Forms of Vintage Futurism”*, at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco was announced. The exhibition will include a series of wood triangle collages, medium-sized assemblages on wood, acrylic paintings and an installation. > With a deep interest in process and structure, Augustine Kofie creates works of intense detail centered on the order of balance. The precision of Kofie’s “drafted” art is strongly inspired by modern architecture as well as the form and shape of typography. > In his quest for balance, Kofie harmonizes opposing and contradictory dynamics in his work by setting futuristic compositions against vintage earth-toned palettes, and creating organically complex formations through meticulously structured line-work and layering. ([press release](http://whitewallssf.com/events/)) I’m totally anxious to see first photos of his latest artworks and I’m sure, the show will be quite impressing! ![augustine kofie exhibition]() augustine kofie exhibition Via [thecitrusreport.com](http://www.thecitrusreport.com/2010/headlines/kofie-one-white-walls-this-saturday-retrofitted-and-other-forms-of-vintage-futurism/).
