Zeus’ 3D Graffiti Sculpture
At the age of fourteen the in London born Dean Zeus Colman began to work off his creativity on the streets. At that time he left, like many others, “just” tags on the streets.
Who could know in the 80s that this little boy will be sixteen years later the first graffiti artists, who would exhibit in the Victoria and Albert Museum of art and design? Probably no one except his parents!
It happened - Dean Zeus Colman became just Zeus, who has been known about 20 years to be at the forefront with his ideas to push and inspire the Urban Art scene. However, it is no longer “only” on graffiti!
His three-dimensional graffiti sculptures and paintings combine elements of graffiti and street art to a typographical overall concept, attempting to largely exploit the possibilities of both urban arts. zeus chaos sculpture
Zeus has, through his experimental work, inspired by his Fine Art studies at Chelsea College of Art, redefined the graffiti concept for many other artists and thus laid the foundation stone, like his namesake, to be a legend.
